The “Musical kaleidoscope”: the festival diaryFestival took place between 6 and 21 December in several Russian regions

The festival goal is to assist the development of all cultural collaboration forms in Russian regions and the mutual exchange of cultural achievements, appreciation of the joint creative work of the performing musicians as well as the support of the regional musical collectives.

Within the festival, a series of concerts are planned with the participation of regional musical groups and invited soloists – laureates of all-Russian and international competitions.

6 and 7 December: Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar, the laureates of all-Russian and international competitions – Ivan Sendetskiy (cello) and Vladimir Stupnikov (bayan) concerts.

16 December: Vladikavkaz, the concert of the laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Gaik Kazazyan (violin), a student of the central music school at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky – Elisey Mysin (piano), the Trio of Ossetian accordionists “AMRAN” of the Vladikavkaz College of Arts named after V. Gergiev, as well as the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre Branch in North Ossetia-Alania (the conductor is an Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Zaurbek Gugkaev).

17 December: Grozny, the laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Gaik Kazazyan (violin) and Elisey Mysin (piano) concert; with the participation of the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre Branch in North Ossetia-Alania (the conductor is an Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Zaurbek Gugkaev).

18 December: Kislovodsk, the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Anna Aglatova (soprano) concert; with the participation of the Academic Symphony Orchestra named after V.I. Safonov (the conductor is the laureate of international competitions Dimitris Botinis).

21 December: Pskov, the Russian State Academic Choir of the Yurlov A.A . The creative head and the chief conductor is the People’s artist of Russia, the professor of the choral conducting faculty of the Moscow state conservatory and the Gnesin Russian Academy of music – Gennady Alexandrovich Dmitryak; with the participation of Governor’s Symphony Orchestra of the Pskov Region. The conductor is Nikolai Khondzinksky.
