Slavonic Alphabet and Culture Day
On May 24, a concert dedicated to the Day of Slavonic Alphabet and Culture, which is annually celebrated in all Slavonic countries, will be held on Red Square in Moscow. This holiday is inextricably linked with the names of two Christian saints, Cyril and Methodius, creators of the first Slavonic alphabet. The main idea of the festival is the theme of spiritual unity, unity of the Slavic peoples, and reverence for the great cultural heritage.
