Volkov Theater on tour

The Russian State Academic Drama Theatre named after F. Volkov (Yaroslavl, Russia) will be on tour in the Republic of Abkhazia from May 2-5. Iskander (Sukhumi) will include From Nekrasov to Nekrasov, an ethnic rock play dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the poet’s birthday (directed by Valery Kirillov); premiere comedy The Forthcoming Event, directed by Sergei Puskepalis; The Red Snowball Tree based on the movie by Vasily Shukshin (directed by Vladimir Smirnov (Danai)); the Elza’s Land tragicomedy based on the play by Yaroslava Pulinovich and staged by Alexander Sozonov.
