101 applications were submitted for participation in the qualifying auditions for the festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”It is noteworthy that for the first time candidates from the Donetsk People’s Republic applied for participation.
On 25 and 26 March, Moscow will host the All-Russian qualifying auditions of candidates from Russia for participation in the XXXIV International Pop Song Performers Competition Vitebsk-25 and the XXIII International Children’s Music Competition Vitebsk-25, which will be held as part of the XXXIV International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk-2025.
38 applications from candidates aged 18 to 31 submitted their applications for participation in the XXXIV International Pop Song Performers Competition Vitebsk-2025. Applications were received from almost 30 cities and towns of Russia, from the Republic of Crimea to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The list of senders includes candidates from: Barnaul, Biysk, Chelyabinsk, Cherepovets, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Moscow, Omsk, Saransk, St. Petersburg, Stary Oskol, Tazovsky village (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District), Tambov, Tomsk, Veliky Novgorod, Voronezh, Voskhod village (Republic of Crimea), etc.
63 candidates (age category from 8 to 14 years) from more than 20 cities and towns applied for participation in the XXIII International Children’s Music Competition Vitebsk-2025. The geographical area of the candidates’ places of residence extends from Murmansk to Krasnoyarsk Territory. Applications were received from Kazan, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Nalchik, Nizhny Novgorod, Novomoskovsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, village of Sokury and village of Usady (Republic of Tatarstan), stanitsa Tatsinskaya (Rostov Region), Ulyanovsk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Vsevolozhsk, SNT. Zamyatino (Krasnoyarsk Krai), Zarechny, and other cities, towns and villages.
The All-Russian auditions are held in two rounds. Based on the results of the First Round, which was conducted by an expert commission that listened to audio and watched video recordings sent by the candidates, 12 potential participants were selected.
The auditions of the Second Round will be held publicly in the presence of the jury in the Concert Hall of the Folklore Center “Moscow” on 25 March – for the XXIII International Children’s Music Competition Vitebsk-2025, on 26 March – for the XXXIV International Pop Song Performers Competition Vitebsk-2025.
Based on the results of the auditions, one participant from the Russian Federation will be chosen to participate in each of the competitions.

The XXXIV International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk-2025 will be held from 7 to 15 July 2025 in the Republic of Belarus.
