Denis Matsuev and Valery Gergiev will open The Rachmaninoff International CompetitionOn June 15, a concert will take place in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory – the grand opening of The Rachmaninoff International Competition.

The Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev will perform “Symphonic Dances” and Sergei Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto. Soloist – Denis Matsuev.

“I have no doubts that our Competition will give the world new bright names. We look forward to its start with great impatience. I am sure that it will be very hot in Moscow this summer!” Denis Matsuev, artistic director of the Competition, shared.
