Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held in the Russian capital.The program will include an exhibition, film screenings, and performances.

The opening of the exhibition Masterpieces of Kazakh Art at the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val is scheduled for 10 October. The exhibition is prepared by the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will feature paintings by 20th-century Kazakh artists: 43 works from the collection of the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 26 – from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery. The exhibition will be open for visitors from 7 October 7 to 23 November.

From 10 to 12 October, the Poklonka Cinema located in the Victory Museum, will host Days of Kazakh Cinema. On the first evening, the Zhukov Hall will become the venue for the grand opening of the event and a screening of Farkhat Sharipov’s musical Stop, Night. Over the course of three days, five more movies of different genres will be demonstrated at the Rokossovsky Hall: the historical war film Summer 1941 by Bekbolat Shekerov, the sports drama 90+1 by Timur Dulatov, the drama Gambling Addict by Aldiyar Bairakimov, the full-length animated film Altyn Adam (The Golden Man) by Turdybek Maidan and Tilek Toleugazy, and the historical drama Dzhambul. New Era by Zhandos Kusainov.

On 13 October, at 19.00, on the stage of Maly Theater on Bolshaya Ordynka, the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev Kazakh National Music and Drama Theater will present the play Parasat Maidany directed by the company’s artistic director, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Gulsina Mirgaliyeva. The play is based on the works by the classic of Kazakh literature Tolen Abdikov Parasat Maidany (Blazing War of Reason) and On Qol (The Right Hand). Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Nurken Oteulov will play the leading part in the play.

Events within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia will continue in November 2025 on the stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
