Days of Russian Culture opened in Kazakhstan’s capitalThe opening ceremony took place on 23 April

The program commenced with the concert The Seasons. Leading creative groups and artists from across Russia performed on the stage of the Astana Opera (State Opera and Ballet Theater).

The program of the Days of  Russian Culture in Kazakhstan also includes a Russian Film Festival, organized by ROSKINO. Screenings of seven Russian films will be held: August, The Aviator, Buratino, Red Silk, First on Olympus, Three Cats. Time Travel, and Cheburashka 2.

The foyer of the Astana Opera State Opera and Ballet Theater is hosting the exhibition Between Sky and Steppe. Kazakhstan Cinema in the Cinema Museum Collection. A special program of the Republic of Tatarstan is also planned, including a project from the National Museum of Tatarstan and a presentation of traditional arts and crafts.

In addition, a roundtable discussion on the prospects for further humanitarian cooperation between the two countries is taking place as part of the Days of Culture.

The international project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
