Yuri Favorin is a laureate of the international Olivier Messiaen Competition in Paris (IV prize “Yvonne Loriod Prize” and the prize for the young solo-performer of the Music Arts Foundation), Queen Elizabeth in Brussels (IV Prize). The pianist collaborated with many famous conductors, including Pierre Boulez, Eri Klas, Arkady Berin, Paul Goodwin, Kazuhiro Koizumi, Marin Alsop.

I International Festival named after A. N. Scriabin, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of his birth, is held in Moscow from 6 January to 1 March. The creative head of the festival is the pianist Boris Berezovsky.
