The Moscow Song Theatre YAR will perform at the Made in Russia Festival in the capital of ChinaFrom 28 to 30 August Beijing will host the Festival and Fair of Russian Goods Made in Russia.

The cultural program will feature a well-known Russian company – the ensemble of the Moscow Song Theater YAR.

Since 2024, the festival-fair has been held in the Chinese cities of Shenyang, Dalian, Harbin, Chengdu and the capital of the UAE Abu Dhabi, and in 2025, the baton was taken up by the capital of the People’s Republic of China. The event will become a highlight of the China-Russia Years of Culture and will contribute to the development of friendly ties and strengthening of mutual understanding between the two countries.

The Moscow Song Theatre YAR, founded in 2019, is a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions, the holder of the Gratitude of the Mayor of Moscow and the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Mari El. The participants of the ensemble are eight professional musicians, all graduates of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The artistic director and soloist is composer Viktor Artemyev, the laureate of the Kuban Youth Prize.

The ensemble’s repertoire includes golden hits of Cossack and Russian folk song culture, songs by Viktor Artemyev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Kostyuk, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov. The concert program will consist of three parts: two parts will feature Russian folk songs and the third one – Cossack songs. The Russian folk compositions will include such famous songs as: Korobeiniki (Peddlers); I’ll Go Out to the Street; Marusya, One, Two, Three; the instrumental interlude Tsyganochka (Gypsy Girl) and others. The ensemble will also perform the most popular song Moscow Nights in Chinese. Among the Cossack songs to be performed are: For the Fatherland and Faith!; For My Russia!; Lovely, Brothers, Lovely; Cossack Calling; Unharness Horses, Lads;Farewell of Slavianka and other compositions. Some musical pieces will be accompanied by interactive activities: Folk Orchestra; A Merry-Go-Round; Wall On Wall; Orchestra and Khorovod (Russian Round Dance).

The Made in Russia Festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture ROSCONCERT. The organizer is the Russian Export Center (REC VEB Group). The official partner of the Festival is the Moscow Export Center (MEC).
