From 10 to 13 October, events of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia were held in Moscow.On 10 October, the exhibition Masterpieces of Kazakh Art, arranged by the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, opened at the New Tretyakov Gallery.
The exhibition features paintings and sculptures by 20th-century Kazakh masters, representing the richness of tradition and the search for a contemporary artistic language. The exhibition is open until November 23rd.
“An interest in exploring culture, an aspiration for mutual enrichment, and a respectful attitude toward our shared heritage is the key to dynamic cooperation and a strengthening partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan,” noted the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
From 10 to 12 October, the Poklonka Cinema hosted the Days of Kazakh Cinema. The program included movies of various genres, from the war drama Summer 1941 to the musical biopic Dos-Mukasan and the animated film Altyn Adam.
On 13 October, on the stage of the Maly Theater, the Kalibek Kuanyshbayev Kazakh National Music and Drama Theater presented the play Parasat Maidany based on the works of Tolen Abdikov. The show, focused on the exploration of a human-being’s inner world, served as the final chord of the October program of the Days of Kazakh Culture in Russia.
The next event in the series is scheduled for November: a gala concert of Kazakh artists will take place on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater.
