Days of Armenian Culture in Russia Culminate in Final ConcertJune 13, Kislovodsk-based Safonov North Caucasus State Academic Philharmonic hosted the Armenian National String Quartet after Komitas.

The Days of Armenian Culture in the Russian Federation were held in Moscow and Kislovodsk on June 10-13. The final concert was performed by the Armenian National String Quartet after Komitas, including People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, winner of the Armenian National Award and international competitions Professor Eduard Tadevosyan as the first chair violinist, winner of international competitions Suzi Yeritsyan as the second violinist, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Professor Alexander Kosemyan as the violist and winner of republican competitions Angela Sargsyan as the cellist.

The musicians performed String Quartet No. 1 (Unfinished Work for Two Violins, Viola and Cello), II. Romance by S. Rachmaninoff, String Quartet D Moll (Theme with Variations) by E. Mirzoyan, and Armenian folk miniatures by Komitas and S. Aslamazyan.

The Days of Armenian Culture in Russia are supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. The events were organized by ROSCONCERT.
