The names of the jury members of the First International Youth Piano Competition named after Sergey Rachmaninoff announcedFor the first time the International Youth Piano Competition named after Sergey Rachmaninoff will be held in March 21-26, 2023, the year of his 150th birthday, in the composer’s homeland Veliky Novgorod.

The skill of the participants at all stages of the competition will be judged by a professional jury, which includes famous artists, teachers and cultural figures from Russia, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium and Vietnam – Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Frederic Kempf, Victor Eresko, Zhania Aubakirova, Ta Quang Dong, Maxim Mogilevsky, Vladimir Tropp and Valery Pyasetsky. The Artistic director and chairman of the jury of the competition – Denis Matsuev.

The official opening of the competition will be held on March 21 in the Novgorod Regional Philharmonic.
