“Theatre draws into its orbit and unites”The Centre of theatre and film under Nikita Mikhalkov management tour will take place in Saratov, Volgograd and Astrakhan from 15 to 24 December.

The Saratov state academic theatre of drama named after I.A. Slonov, the Volgograd state New experiment theatre and the Astrakhan state theatre of the Opera and Ballet stages will show the play “12” within the federal area of the “Bolshie gastroli”.

The director, the people’s artist of Russia Nikita Mikhalkov: “The tour of our play “12”, that we will bring to Saratov, Volgograd and Astrakhan this time, is a big joy to us and, of course, no less of a responsibility. I hope after the viewing the audience would be able to think over compassion, freedom, help to the neighbour, because today as never before, simple human emotions are so important to people. In this sense, the theatre is not comparable to anything: it draws into its orbit and unites.

“I would like to thank our partners – the Ministry of Culture of the RF and “ROSCONCERT” that made our Centre of theatre and film participation possible in the program of “Bolshie gastroli”. It is very important to us to take part in such massive all-Russian event”.

The “Bolshie gastroli” program is carried out by FGBUK “ROSCONCERT” per all-Russian touring-concert schedule of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
