Days of Culture of Belarus in Russia and Russian cultural programs in Belarus
As part of international cultural cooperation
Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture ROSCONCERT holds high-status events in the field of international cultural cooperation, prepares cultural programs of forums, business summits and meetings.
This area of activity of ROSCONCERT aims to promote international cultural cooperation, integrate contemporary Russian art into the current global artistic process, support cultural activity of our country abroad.
As we know, culture is an excellent peace ambassador. Harmonious coexistence of different cultures, dialogue and cooperation in the atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding are the best guarantees of international peace and security.
According to the Government order, ROSCONCERT is successfully implementing cultural exchange within the framework of festivals, Culture Days and cross-years in Russia with other countries: the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, the Kingdom of Morocco, Mongolia, State of Palestine, the Republic of Tunisia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Azerbaijani Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of South Ossetia.
In recent years, ROSCONCERT has organized cultural programs of such representative forums as the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), St. Petersburg Cultural Forum and others, as well as special events: “Days of Russian Culture in the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe: Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Greece”; “Days of Culture of the Russian Federation within the framework of the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Kingdom of Thailand”, “Exchange of cultural events between Russia and Egypt within the framework of the Humanitarian Cooperation Year”, gala concerts within the framework of the Festival of Cultures during the meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the BRICS summit; “Concert programs within the framework of the Year of the History of Russia – Greece” and many others.
Holding events in the field of international cultural cooperation promotes a positive image of Russia in the international arena, forms trust-based relations and cultural partnership between countries, increases the level of interest of friendly countries in the culture of Russia, and provides citizens of partner countries the opportunity for a broader access to each other’s culture.
